President's Speaker Series

The President's Speaker Series welcomes distinguished scholars and thought leaders representing diverse points of view to examine topics and issues facing our communities and the world today. Driven by a desire to connect deeply with our community and inspire meaningful dialogue in the pursuit of truth, the series provides opportunities to cultivate an engaged and impassioned collective through civil discourse.

Great Books Club

Led by renowned scholar Jessica Hooten Wilson (‘04), the Great Books Club invites Pepperdine alumni and parents to explore the works of celebrated London authors who shaped Christian literature. The first book, That Hideous Strength by C. S. Lewis, will be paired with an exclusive webinar for a deeper discussion of the reading. For those planning to join us in London for our International Travel program, this will be a great opportunity to segue into the experience and connect with fellow Waves.

Tagliaferri Dean’s Lecture Series

The Augustus and Patricia Tagliaferri Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series was established through an endowment for the School of Public Policy by benefactor Dr. Augustus "Gus" Tagliaferri (MBA '74). From its founding, the School of Public Policy has uniquely considered the role all the liberal arts play in shaping sustainable policy and great leaders.

Harbor: The Pepperdine Bible Lectures Series

Established in 1943, Harbor is now a flagship event for the Office of Church Relations. It is an annual four-day conference at the Pepperdine campus in Malibu, bringing together Christians from across the nation and around the world, with education, fellowship, worship, and rejuvenation.
