Alumna and Author Hope Reagan Harris (’17) to Speak at the Well

Hope Reagan Harris

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Seaver College alumna Hope Reagan Harris will speak at Pepperdine’s weekly worship service, the Well, an opportunity for believers of all backgrounds to gather in fellowship and spiritual teaching. The service will begin at 8 PM at the Amphitheatre on the Malibu campus.

Harris is passionate about connecting with young professionals through her faith and writing. Her most recent book, Purpose Doesn’t Pause, offers faith-based ideas on how to get motivated and flourish in who God created the reader to be. With years of experience in the corporate world, she enjoys weaving in practical tips and advice that her audience can easily implement, helping them walk away feeling equipped and confident.

Purpose Doesn’t Pause started a global movement after a reader believed that it would change women's lives and started a GoFundMe campaign to help bring Harris’ book to readers everywhere. This support led Harris to start a Purpose Doesn’t Pause podcast that elevates and celebrates God’s restoration through the lives of women around the world. It also inspired the Purpose Doesn't Pause Movement, in which Harris partners with nonprofits and correctional centers across the globe to help women who feel hopeless step into their God-given purpose and remind them that despite their circumstances, the meaning of their lives does not abate. Harris is a powerful writer and speaker who specializes in exploring purpose, confusion, and feeling stuck.

The Well is sponsored by the University’s Hub for Spiritual Life and is a free event open to all members of the Pepperdine community.
