Matching Gifts
Many organizations set aside philanthropic dollars for higher education and allocate those funds through matching gift programs. These programs allow the company's employees, and sometimes retirees and directors, to make a contribution to an institution that is then matched by a corporate gift. While match percentage varies by company, these gifts represent a significant source of scholarship and grant funds for Pepperdine students.
Matching gift forms are typically obtained through the employer's human resources office. The employee can then mail the completed form with a check made payable to Pepperdine University; the rest is handled by the University and the employer.
