When You Arrive
General Check-In
Residential Attendees
Wednesday check-in for those residing in campus housing (dorms and apartments) during the conference will take place in Lovernich Commons. You will see directional signs leading you to the housing and conference registration center. Registration will be open on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday check-in for those residing in campus housing will take place in Mullin Town Square from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To accommodate late arrivals, the housing office will be open until 10 p.m. each evening in Lovernich Commons.
For those arriving by bus, please have your driver take you to Rho Parking Lot where you will unload and check in with Special Programs. Buses can park in Rho Parking Lot or Firestone Fieldhouse for extended parking.
Non-Residential Attendees
For those arriving during the day on Wednesday or other days (and not requiring lodging), Registration/Information will be available in Mullin Town Square (down the stairs from Jerry’s Tree in the main Seaver College parking lot). Registration will be open on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Temporary parking will be available in the Visitor's lot, but please be sure you get a token at the guard booth to access the parking lot gate. Street parking on Seaver Drive is available for those who wish to stop briefly before proceeding to the assigned parking area for Ascending Voice in the Firestone Fieldhouse Lot (from which shuttles will be available back to central campus).
Housing Accommodations
Campus dorms consist of suites. Each suite contains four double bedrooms (each with two single beds, two chests of drawers, two desks, two chairs, and two bookcases), a living room, and a large bathroom with two private shower stalls, two private toilet stalls, and two sinks. For unmarried guests, like genders will be placed in suites (all males or all females).
Each guest will receive a linen package in his or her room. A linen package consists of the following: two sheets, one blanket, one pillow and pillowcase, two bath towels, one hand towel, one wash cloth, one plastic cup, one hotel-sized bar of soap, and one 13-gallon plastic trash bag. Anyone hoping to visit the beach or pool should bring beach towels. All linens should be left in the room upon departure.
Transportation & Parking
Car and Van Parking Information
Park in designated guest areas: on Seaver Drive, Banowsky Drive, John Tyler Drive, Rho lot (adjacent to Lovernich apartments), Firestone Fieldhouse Lot, or Drescher Parking Garage.
On-Campus Shuttle
Regular campus shuttles run every fifteen minutes and will be in service each day: 6:45 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Shuttle stops will include: Alumni Park, Firestone Fieldhouse, the Lovernich/Rho Parking Lot, Stauffer Chapel, Jerry’s Tree, Drescher Campus dorms, and Villa Graziadio.
