Lori Cardle spent 25 years in the medical industry and partnered with medical professional leadership to deploy financial and operational disciplines to ensure patients receive proper care while the facility maintains strong financial security. She also took on the emergency preparedness preparations for Valley Presbyterian Hospital, reimagining the plans for future success.
What does being an honoree of the Outstanding Alumni in Healthcare campaign mean to you?
It is humbling to be recognized for the work that you do and how it impacts the community you serve, especially when you believe deeply in the work that you do.
Describe your road to success.
My road to success was built on my willingness to move through doors that were opened through my curiosity and tenacity and supported by leaders and mentors.
Who has helped you achieve success in your career?
So many people. My parents gave me a great foundation and bosses, colleagues and friends have supported me along the way.
Describe a lesson you've learned from a challenging time in your career or life.
If you focus on doing the right thing, no matter how hard, good things will come. Don't let ego get in the way.
How do you prepare for a busy day?
A good night sleep and exercise.
