Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Grant (EDI Grant)
A program designed to promote academic excellence and support outstanding faculty scholarship in the areas of equity, diversity, and inclusion, faculty are invited to apply for an EDI Grant of $5,000 to advance research that encourages the creation of knowledge or the enhancement of existing avenues of inquiry in these areas. EDI Grant proposals will be initially reviewed by a sub-committee of the Seaver Diversity and Belonging Council before subsequent review by the Seaver Research Council. Like the existing Seaver Research Council Grants, if awarded, funding will be available in the next fiscal year (FY26).
Proposals (2-3 pages) providing a brief description of the research project or activity, a budget clearly specifying how the funds will be used to support the project and how it will advance the faculty member's research, as well as a current C.V. should be submitted through the Internal Research Programs - Application Form by February 5, 2025. Funded projects will be expected to complete the Internal Research Report Form by August 15, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact Sevana Hanneyan in the Office of Research, Grants, and Foundation Relations.
