Vice President for Advancement and Chief Development Officer
Lauren Cosentino ('97, MBA '12) is the vice president for advancement and chief development officer at Pepperdine University. In her current role, Cosentino leads Pepperdine's efforts to engage friends, donors, and alumni, all the while working closely with chancellor Sara Jackson on major fundraising initiatives and with the advancement team to develop and implement major fundraising campaigns and strategies.
Cosentino began her career with Pepperdine the year that she graduated from Seaver College and has continuously served the University for the last 24 years. She worked in Church Relations and University Advancement before serving as the vice president for campus operations and human resources. In that position, she served as the chair of the University's threat assessment team, and as vice chair of the Emergency Operations Committee; she also worked with team members of the Office of Human Resources, Office of Insurance and Risk Management, Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts, Boone Center for the Family, Pepperdine Mail Services, Printing Services, Transit Services, Auto Shop, and Warehouse Services.
Cosentino attended Pepperdine's Heidelberg campus while a Seaver College student and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1997, followed by an MBA from the Graziadio Business School in 2012.
